The Z7 is the first boat from a new Askeladden generation, with a focus on innovative design and ingenious devices. The new dashboard is pure style, clearly set out and allows for integration of navigational electronics. The cockpit features a new table which can be pulled down and hidden in the side of the boat in one simple manoeuvre. The cockpit seating can also be transformed into a sun lounger by lowering the seat back. The cleats with mooring rope are yet another innovative feature on the Z7 model. Each of the four cleats has integrated mooring ropes (Q-ropes) which allow for simple and rapid withdrawal and storage of the mooring rope. The Z7 also has a cabin under deck with sleeping area and toilet.
